All pupils have the opportunity to apply their creative and practical abilities through Design and Technology, which is taught through the school.

At KS3 pupils can undertake projects involving Computer Aided Design and Manufacture, and write control programmes. Each year pupils from every Year 8 class take part in an architectural awareness visit to an important London building, currently the famous Mound Stand at Lord's cricket ground.

Pupils can choose to study Graphics or Resistant Materials at KS4, while Double GCSE Manufacturing provides a more vocational option. Product Design is offered at AS/2 level; students visit the Design Museum, and undertake a subject study skills day at the University of London. The department encourages participation in community based design activities, and a number of grahics students originated the new playground designs in Woodside Park in conjunction with Haringey Council.
