Year
8 is all about coasts, Brazil, the destruction of the Amazon Rain forest, crime
and world sport, shopping. We also do research.
In
Year 7 we are learning about the world around us, weather and climate, map
skills, Ecosystems. We like to challenge our teacher by asking lots of questions.
Year
9 helps us to think more deeply about matters like development and aid, natural
hazards and how they affect people, France, fashion industry.
We like to put different points of view because we all see things differently.
On
our GCSE courses we look carefully at how people influence the surrounding
areas. The topics that we concentrate on are:Population Energy, Leisure Employment,
Coasts Weather and Climate
Our coursework is about our local area. We enjoy carrying out research and looking
at what people have done to the world.
In
the sixth form we enjoy discussion and research. Topics we
look at are managing human environment, managing the physical environment.
Our in depth study is
usually centred on our local area and looks at the environment. We are definitely
taught to question everything about our different ways of life.
