The department is accommodated in a suite of 2 classrooms with 2 interactive whiteboards. The subject is popular and thriving at GCSE and has recently expanded to deliver the BTEC Travel and Tourism First Diploma
Trips and visits are an integral part of the department with visits to South Wales and the Lake District at KS3 and Barcelona and the Norfolk Broads at KS4.
Year 8 also took part in a very successful trip to the London Aquarium in December.
The students were shocked to find out exactly how humans are damaging the natural balance of the seas and oceans and they left the aquarium feeling more environmentally aware.
