Girls:

Navy pleated or flared skirt of a sensible length, not button-through or split.  Denim not permitted, OR black school trousers (no jeans, skinny trousers, leggings, combats or flares permitted.
Pale blue open-necked blouse.
Navy cardigan or V-necked pullover.
Navy blazer (not black) with school badge.
Coat – plain, navy or black, with no patterns or motif (not denim or leather).
Black or navy scarf.
White or navy knee length socks or tights (no leg-warmers).
Black shoes (NOT trainers, black canvas shoes or boots) to be worn throughout the day and to and from school.  (Trainers may be worn at break and lunch time.)
Earrings (only one pair) if worn should be sleepers or studs.  (Nose studs, tongue studs or other visible piercings are not permitted).
(The school will not be held responsible for expensive items of jewellery lost on the premises.)
A school tie is currently optional for girls but if worn must be worn correctly (i.e. fastened, with an appropriately sized knot.

A simple watch can be worn and a chain or crucifix under the blouse.
No other jewellery (e.g. rings, earrings or piercings) is permitted.

Make up is not permitted.

Boys:

Dark grey or black trousers (not brushed cotton).
Pale blue shirt.
Navy V-necked pullover or cardigan
Navy blazer (not black) with school badge
School tie, worn correctly (i.e. top button fastened, tie with an appropriately sized knot).
Coat – plain navy or black, with no patterns or motifs (not denim or leather).
Black or navy scarf.
Black or grey socks.
Traditional black shoes (NOT trainers or boots) to be worn throughout the day and to and from school.   (Trainers may be worn at break and lunch time.)

For both boys and girls please note that:

  • Hats and caps are not be worn to and from school, although during the winter months when inclement weather sets in a plain black woolly hat may be worn (pupils will be notified).
  • Blazers are to be worn at all times.
  • All pupils should bring a plain bag to school which can be fastened in order to keep safe their books, PE kit and writing equipment.
  • A neat and tidy hairstyle is an essential part of the uniform (patterns or lines cut into the hair or into eyebrows are not acceptable).  No extreme or dyed hairstyles are permitted.  Hair ribbons should be black or navy.
  • Mobile phones are not permitted in school at all for any reason and will be confiscated for one week.  Pupils must leave them at home!
