CARDINAL HUME'S ADDRESS

In early May, Cardinal Hume addressed an ecumenical meeting of religious leaders and articulated that despite threats and horrors there is very much evidence of hope in our society and that with a common ecumenical approach religious faiths can build on the hope and resilience of our common humanity because God is the ultimate source of hope and faith.

"Grasp the hope held out to us" as the "anchor for our souls" (Hebrews Chapter 6:19)

"Share the Journey" is a two-year campaign sponsored by Caritas Internationalis, the global network of national Catholic charities, to promote encounters between people on the move and people living in the countries they are leaving, passing through or arriving in.
