St Thomas More Catholic School is a mixed, independent Academy within the Cardinal Hume Academies Trust and comprises approximately 1,000 students, aged 11 - 18. The school has excellent facilities and in June 2013 and January 2019 was judged by Ofsted as an ‘Outstanding School’. Our students work hard and achieve success.

We are looking for an energetic and dedicated Teacher of Economics and Business Studies to join the school's Business Studies Department, starting in January 2022. The post would suit a committed and skilled teacher who wants to make a difference and help all our students achieve the highest possible standards.  A willingness to teach other related subjects is is an advantage.  Recruitment and retention allowance will be negotiable for the right candidate.

STUDENT AMBASSADORS

 We require Student Ambassadors to deliver small group teaching, 1:1 sessions, literacy and numeracy interventions and assist teachers in class to help raise the attainment of our pupils.  This job would suit an intelligent, highly motivated and conscientious individual who is studying for an academic degree.  Excellent communication skills are essential.  Hours are flexible and can be fitted around study.
