Sixth Form Admission
To enter the Sixth Form, students should have achieved a minimum of five GCSE at Grade 4 or above, preferably including English and Maths, if intending to follow a Level 3 course. Specific subjects at A Level often require special entry criteria and this information can be found in relevant subject inserts within the subject information booklet below.
There may be situations where individuals will be accepted with lower qualifications and consideration may be given in such circumstances. Without English and Mathematics at Grade 4 or above, it is recommended that a Level 2 Course should be followed for a year and this may lead into a Level 3 Course in the following year.
Places in the Sixth Form of the school will be distributed in accordance with the over-subscription criteria, subject to applicants fulfilling the individual requirements of suitable courses.
