Outstanding GCSE Results
Congratulations to our GCSE & BTEC students for their fantastic results
We would like to congratulate all our students who performed exceptionally well this year despite the challenges.
Of particular note:
Anabela Santos, eight grade 9s, one 8 and A in Additional Maths, John Caidic who achieved five grade 9s, five grade 8s and A in Additional Maths; Elizabeth Osei three grade 9s, four grade 8s and A in Additional Maths; and Jermaine Maxwell, two grade 9s, seven grade 8s and A in Additional Maths.
This year, following the cancellation of exams, grades were awarded through a process of centre-assessed grades, against a national standard and approved and awarded by the exam boards. The school has followed rigorous and scrupulously fair procedures so that all can have confidence in the grades awarded. The government is not publishing performance data for any schools or colleges this year due to the varying impact of the pandemic.
Mr Rosen, Head of School said, “This year has been an extremely challenging one, for both staff and pupils. Collectively we have immense pride in the work and achievements of our students, especially after such a disrupted year. Our teachers and support staff have worked tirelessly to ensure students are all able to progress onto Higher Education and further study, and we look forward to seeing what they will achieve in the future. Congratulations to all and I look forward to welcoming them back in September to join our sixth form.”
