This week it was our boys' football teams that stole the show.

Year 8

Rennie, Xavi, Romeo, Jayshaun and Isaac showed that they were on top form this week with an impressive 5-0 win against Harris Academy.  After a frustrating first half, the team began to set the pace, with Romeo Rojas taking control in the early minutes of the second half.  By the end of the 80 minutes, St Thomas More had comfortably vanquished their opposition, meaning they would remain at the top of the Haringey League.  A commendable performance from Samuel Nwabuko saw him make several crucial saves for the team in the early stages of the game.

Year 9

Watford Academy player Tobi Adeyamo scored five goals this week, helping to lead the Year 9 boys’ football team to a 12-6 win over Harris Academy.  The victory means the team have won 7 games of 7 and remain top of the Haringey League.  Other scorers on the day were Allan (who scored twice), Romeo, Ronnie, Isaiah and Raymond.

Year 10

Shaydon scored from outside the box to assist the Year 10 boys’ team to a 4-1 win against Harris Academy on Thursday.  Other scorers on the day were Kaquan (who scored twice) and Marlon.  The Year 10 boys’ football team also remain top of the Haringey League.
