This week our boys excelled in basketball and football.

Year 9 Basketball 
The Year 9 boys' basketball team have continued their unbeaten run after beating Lammas School. St Thomas More were on the back foot for the majority of the game and were down by 2 points at the end of the third quarter. Keanu Ray-Nearchou drove towards the basket several times in the 4th quarter to put St Thomas More in the lead. A close game saw our boys beat the Waltham Forest champions 56-50. Chukwudi Dioramma made a memorable dunk for the first time.  
Year 8 Football- London Cup
The Year 8 football team have qualified into the second round of the London Cup after beating Bow school. The game finished 8-2 to St Thomas More School with Romeo Rojas, Lamarhrio Foster, Jayshaun Bailey, David Mpunga Jesse Udaigwe and Emmanuel Yessoh  all scoring on the day.
Year 11 Football 
The Year 11 boys' football team have been crowned champions after winning the Haringey Football Cup. The tournament was hosted by St Thomas More school at the Frederik Knight Sport's Ground. St Thomas More secured victories against Highgate Wood, Greig City, Park View and Woodside to take home the gold medal. The top scorer Massie Barnes said he was pleased his players showed fantastic cohesion to come through as champions. The captain Donnabhan received Player of the Tournament.
